Chex Mix Turtle Bars: Review & Giveaway (3 winners)

Thanks for visiting, this giveaway has ended!

Thanks to My Blog Spark, I was able to review these yummy Chex Mix Turtle bars! We were all delightfully surprised by the flavor. Although they aren't quite as yummy as a true peanut turtle, the bars are definitely a delightful snack. At 130 calories per bar, they are a good hold over between meals or to grab and go for breakfast! Full of whole grains, like all Chex products, these are really yummy! And they even taste great a little warm and melted! (the postman left them in the mailbox on a Saturday when it was 108 degrees, and we got home a few hours later)

This delicious snack combines crunchy Chex pieces, pretzels, and peanuts with caramel and chocolate. And if that's not enough, they have at least 8 grams of whole grain per serving (48 grams recommended daily)! A great combination of the ingredients you love, Chex Mix Bars are a tasty treat that will leave you feeling satisfied and guilt-free!

Okay, want to win two boxes of Chex Mix Turtle bars? They are truly yummy? and there will be three winners (each getting two boxes)!

After a long day at work, I like to unwind by playing with my kids until they go to bed. After that, I play video games for a while. I guess some of us just never completely grow up!

Those look yummy! Once a week after we put our boys down I take a long, hot bubble bath, then curl up in bed with a book!! I always feel refreshed the next day

On the weekends I like to unwind by riding my bike 8 miles on the bike trail by my house. Then I go home and pass out on the sofa :)

After a long day, I like to unwind by sitting outside on the patio (if it's warm) and just talking to my husband. Our lives are very hectic (I work pt nights/weekends and he works ft days) and we get very little time together. If the kids are still up, I like to unwind with them by playing a board game (our son always plays himself as well as our twin infants...so all 5 get to play!)

I like to unwind by gardening, reading, or taking a hot bath. The bath is reserved for my most stressful of days!

After a long day at work, I love to come home, play with my pets and either go for a walk or sit on the back deck and read.

I unwind by playing cards on a poker site. Honestly, I can't tell you how many times my husband has found me fast asleep at my desk with me "sitting out" at the card table!!!

After a very tiring day, I dive into a carton of Blue Bunny Peanut Butter Blast ice cream.

I unwind with my laptop - reading blogs, checking facebook, playing with my fantasy baseball rosters. I also have cuddle time with my kids - how can that NOT relax you?? :-)

I wind down by working in the yard or going to the casino. Either way I stink when I come inside my home. So I put all of the stinky clothes in the washing machine and make a run for the bathroom for a nice long bath.

thank you,

Christine

I usually one of two things. One I might take a bath and read magazines or books. Or the other is pick up one of my knitting projects.

My "decompression time" is usually spent at the gym. There's little that helps me transition from work day to "real life" better than a good workout. I especially like the late in the week, evening, kickboxing class at the gym. Unlike many gyms, we actually use free standing bags, so we get to really hit and kick things. I call the class "percussive therapy" and have found that it's a great stress reliever.

Thanks for the chance to win.

After a long day of work, I like to unwind by snuggling with my sweet little baby boy. His smiles can melt away all my stress instantly!

After a stressful week, my husband and I like to have date night if the kids spend the night with grandparents. A lot of times we will order food out, grab a movie, and eat at home while we watch a movie.

Winding down after a long day is not always easy. I still have to come home, make dinner, do laundry, wash dishes, help kids with homework and make sure lunches are made and school clothes are laid out the night before. By the time all of THAT stuff is done, I try to go online for a few moments to post to my blog, read emails and preserve my sanity. So the day basically fizzles out with not enough hours to do everything-and then I repeat the routine at 5 am the next day!

I like to make a nice pot of tea, listen to some music and just simply surf the web, or just curl up with a good book.

Lorie Shewbridge Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:00:00 PM CDT

I like to go up on the porch with the dog and the hubs, a nice glass of wine, put on some music, sit on my recliner, enjoy the birds, the sunset.... then promptly fall asleep! :-)

I love taking a super long hot bath with a book or Oprah magazine. When I'm done, I am soooo relaxed!

I unwind by playing on the computer. Hubby has tv, I have the puter. If it is morning after a tiring weekend, I get my little routines done early and get aload of laundry in the wash, have a cup of coffee and then sit to browse my quilting sites...love eyecandy! Other things I like to do to unwind is hang laundry outside...weird but true!

cindiizzy Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 12:43:00 PM CDT

I unwind in many ways it depends on the day. I blow bubbles, play on the computer, watch TV, spend time with my family, listen to music, and many other ways.

AT the end of the day after the children are in bed I like to unwind by taking a bubble bath and reading a magazine or a part of my favorite book.

We like to watch DVD's from blockbuster online. Or get free codes for redbox. I also get movies from the library if they are available.

Mermaid2x,  Monday, July 6, 2009 at 1:51:00 AM CDT

I get an iced latte and an ice pack (the old fashioned kind in fabric) and sit outside on the deck chair drinking coffee and balancing the ice pack on my head. Maybe take the daily newspaper with me...if the kids haven't used it for crafts.
