My favorite school supply was always the different colored pens, I think they were the gel ink type. Some were kind of sparkly. I loved to take my notes in them, so professional!

When I was young, my favorite thing to get were the pencils that smelled like fruit or other things! I still have one of the strawberry ones but of course it doesn't smell anymore!!

I loved my pencil holder. I remember that little zip-up case always had lots of extra things in it. I kept my milk money in it, garbage from candy and gum that I'd brought to school, as well as pencils and a small ruler.

My favorite school supply growing up was my I Love Lucy lunchbox. Sure would be great if I still had that because I still do love Lucy and it would make a great antique collectible. Thank you!

I had 2, getting the big box of 64 crayons was a treat! And, I loved getting folders, because our teachers always gave us scratch n sniff stickers as rewards and I would cover my folders with them!
I still love that 64 box of crayons, lol!

Hmmm.... my favorite school supply growing up had to be the largest package of Crayons that were available at that time. "Back in the day", I think the largest set was the 64 Crayon box. By no stretch of the imagination was I good at drawing. However with the extravagance of a 64 Crayon set, the artistic possibilities seemed endless (if not realistic)!

I think my favorite school supply as a younger child was the crayola crayons with the crayon sharpener inbedded in the box. I thought that was so cool! As I got older, I liked getting different colored pens with matching notebooks. I know...I was a dork, but I loved having a green pen for a green spiral, red for red, purple for purple, etc.

My favorite school supply was my backpack. That is the best! A cool and new backpack is just essential! :) It's like getting a new purse as a grownup! Love bags!

I've always loved the smell of permanent markers. Don't know why I just like it.

I loved colored pencils. I remember obsessing over keeping them perfectly sharp and all the same length.

My favorite school supply were Jelly Roll pens. They were all the rage when I was in middle school, and I was so excited that my mom spoiled me and bought a bunch of them for me!

My favorite was a big box of crayons. We didn't have a lot of money so I cherished that big 64 box. I had it until recently when my dh convinced me to let the kids play with them. Just not the same respect for crayons:) They disappeared one by one.

My all time favorite school item was the year that I got a Barbie lunchbox. Even when I stopped taking lunches, I still kept that lunch box to keep all my "special treasures" in!

My all-time favorite school supply was my kitten-themed Trapper Keeper that I begged and pleaded for and finally got! In general, though, I loved the little erasers that you could buy that were in different shapes and sometimes even scents. It was fun to see which of your friends had the coolest one! :-)

The crayons was an right of passage, going from big to the little ones and then up thru the different sized boxes. Can't remember which grade equated to the box of 64 but that was a point in time that you thought you were at the peak, that it just couldn't get better.

I loved a compass. I loved playing with it & making circles everywhere.I had one every year eventhough I only remember having to use it once at school.
