Review & Giveaway: TruKid - Natural Skin, Hair and Sun Protection Made Just for Kids! - CLOSED

This giveaway has ended! Thanks for visiting! Winner will be announced soon!
I was so excited to receive a selection of TruKid products from Jennifer Adams Bunkers, CEO and developer of TruKid, for review with my two little guys!  I'd seen TruKid mentioned in a few news articles as the only natural products created specifically for kids and I was intrigued before we ever received them!  With two young boys, I am definitely concerned about what we use everyday on their skin knowing that any chemicals may be directly absorbed into the bloodstream.

We immediately checked out the Bubbly Body Wash and the Silly Shampoo in the shower (yep, my boys love the shower, it's like a huge water park everyday to them) the morning after the box arrived!  Using only a small amount gives ample suds for fun and washing and both have a light, fresh scent.  My youngest has very sensitive skin and he loves TruKid Bubbly Body Wash because he isn't itchy anymore after showers when he soaps up!

We have also loved the Sunny Days Body Stick and Sunscreen.  It spreads easily and doesn't leave that white smear on skin.  Another big plus is that when the kids get wet, this sunscreen doesn't get that slimy, glistening look that some sunscreens do and it's a definite plus that it's chemical free while protecting them from the sun!  As the weather turns colder in Texas, we'll be using the Happy Face and Body Lotion more on the kids since their skin is not used to the drying effects of a heated air!
In case you haven't already clicked over to the TruKid site or heard about TruKid, here's a little bit more about the company:

TruKid is an award-winning line of safe, natural skin and hair care products for children free of Parabens, SLS, BPA, Phthalate, Gluten, and 1-4 Dioxane developed by a mom of six kids who still runs the company and is part of the development of the products she believes in.  TruKid also has a handy "toxic bad guys" list to take with you whenever you shop for items that will come in contact with your children's skin!  You'll be amazed at how many of these products are in the soaps and shampoos in your bathroom today (I know I was!).  I love that TruKid not only makes products that are good for our kids but also helps to educate both adults and children about healthy habits when it comes to hygiene!
TruKid is a must-have for all kids and especially kids with sensitive skin!  If you haven't checked out TruKid yet, you should!  I think you'll be impressed with the selection of natural skin, hair, and sun protection products that are offered!  Also check out the cool - Back to School - Bundle which includes 1 Silly Shampoo, 1 Bubbly Body wash, 1 Cool Conditioner, 1 Friendly Face wash, 1 Happy Face and Body Lotion, 1 Sunny Days SPF 30+ Face and Body Stick and 1 Sunny Days SPF 30+ Lotion.   TruKid has offered to send one Two Monkeys & a Washtub Reader their Back to School Bundle (a $67 value - everything pictured below) so keep reading to find out more!  You can purchase this Bundle September 5th through September 12th for only $46.53!  If you love their products, you definitely want to grab a great deal on this Back to School Bundle available for a limited time only!

Giveaway Details:
One winner will win a Back to School Bundle from TruKid (a $67 value)!  This giveaway will end on 9/17 at 10:00PM Central.  The winner will be emailed and will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen.

I would like to try the lotion. My 10 year old gets extremely dry skin in the winter, and we often have to use Vaseline on his hands :( I have been looking for something better.

The lotion would be awesome for my son. He thinks that I put girlie stuff on him so he would love this. His skin is crazy dry so it is must, it would be nice to have a product that could stop the fight he puts up. lol

I would love to try the shampoo (and the conditioner) because my daughter has super fine hair and it typically looks like a little rats nest :)

They only use ingredients that are good for you, and spent a lot of time making their products just right. they made sure everything was kid approved. and their products are good for the kids.

I would like to try the sunscreen. All three of my kids are redheads so sunscreen is a must, but I hate putting it on them knowing how many chemicals it contains.

I would love to try TruKid because we just found out Zach has Keratosis Polaris which is rash on his legs and arms (mainly upper thigh and upper arms) caused by blocked pores. I would like to see if this product would work to help that a little even though he comes by it because of me. Inheritance, yay!
