Children's Book Review: The Boy Who Changed the World by Andy Andrews
The Boy Who Changed the World by Andy Andrews is written to encourage kids to see that what they do will have an effect. All of our actions affect the future- not just our own future but those of others. Through the lives of Norman Borlaug, Henry Wallace, George Washington Carver, and his adopted father, Moses, Andrews tells the story of how a boy changed the world. Richly illustrated by Philip Hurst, this book is visually appealing.
My young children loved the pictures throughout the book even if they are too young to understand the story at this time. It definitely lets children know that they could change the world through the actions they make. This book is a great historical read for kids both young and old even though it’s an easy read! You can purchase The Boy Who Changed the World at Amazon or you local bookseller.
