Yummy!  Do I have to pick which kind to try first?  I love taste tasting....and since I'm a great dane, I can try extras just to make sure I give you a good review.  These are some truly tasty treats.  The granola biscuits were super yummy....I only dropped one on the floor and I'm normally pretty clumsy when it comes to treats!  My mommy liked that these were filled with good stuff for me, and I just liked how they tasted, plus they were crunchy and that helps my teeth!  I am always a sucker for chewy treats, and these Milk-Bone Healthy Favorites were no exception.  I tried biscuits first because mommy knew I would gobble these up!  I still chewed but that was just to taste the yummy flavor...10 minutes later I was still licking my lips!  Good stuff.  I have already added these to the shopping list for a refill! (I was too fast for a picture - grab and go)!

Do I really only get one?  I was still able to chew these, well two crunches in my big mouth, but I love Milk-Bones and these are perfect for teaching this old dog new tricks...or reminding me that I am supposed to stay when I'm out in the front yard and other dogs walk by!  I'll take a bribe in Milk-Bone Minis any day, but I think I should share these with some of my smaller dog friends because they would be perfect for little mouths!  I could eat a whole bowl of these at my size, but they are perfect for training and the kids can give me treats more often so mommy liked that!  I get spoiled 5 calories at a time and that's okay with me!  (you can see the mini alongside a Healthy Naturals Chewy Treat and a Granola Biscuit!)

Costume Discounters - Not just for Halloween, great designs for anytime! Review

In our house there is always time for dress-up and when you drive past the Cowboys stadium on a daily basis on your way to work, you just have to include a Cowboys uniform to be a true Texan!  Costume Discounters is not just for Halloween, they have a huge selection of boys costumes and sports costumes that can be used throughout the year and the quality is amazing!

My son loved his Boys NFL Cowboys Helmet and Uniform Set (ball not included).  He's only 2, and we purchased a Medium so we could pull it on over clothes for dress-up!  This has been one costume that has been fought over in our house...because when you live in North Texas, it doesn't matter what team your mom and dad may like, you just dream of growing up to be a Cowboy!

Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles - Review and Giveaway

When I first had the opportunity to review Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles, I was intrigued that these were real wax candles that looked and appeared to burn like a real candle when illuminated.  I never realized how excited I would be to have my Enjoy Lighting  Flameless Candles during the rolling blackouts earlier this month in North Texas.  We were faced with on-again/off-again power for two days and with young kids, they were scared with the lights off.  I didn't feel comfortable having real candles burning where they could reach them when I wasn't looking, but the Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles were so pleasant and soothing when the house was completely dark!

The candles can be turned on or set on a 4, 6, or 8-hr timer!  We opted for the timer option to conserve battery life, but I am still amazed at the realistic look of the candles on the mantle on a daily basis.  I love that that wax is slightly melted at the top and the cluster of LED bulbs that flicker give these flameless candles a realistic glow when "burning" too!  When I finally get a moment for me-time, I can't wait to place these around the bathtub for a long soak!  I only wish that these candles came with the initial set of batteries so I didn't have to hunt for batteries when I purchased new ones but at least the candles operate on standard AA batteries with an expected 300 hours of burn-time per set of batteries (depends on brand, etc.)!

We received a great gift pack from Green Giant to help us with our goals for healthy eating in 2011 and eventhough we love the frozen vegetables (we received the broccoli and cheese to try), the cooler tote will be a great addition to our shopping trips in the Texas heat that will be coming soon!  Our favorite go-to meal on busy nights is grilled chicken breasts and broccoli with cheese sauce!  My young boys love the broccoli with cheese sauce and use it as the topping for their chicken too!  My favorite to purchase is the Simply Steam Asparagus Cuts.  It's nice to have one of our favorite veggies even when it's not in season and the canned asparagus just isn't as tasty!  We've been serving Green Giant frozen veggies as sides to our meals since our days in college because it's always been an economical way to make sure we were eating healthy, so I'm so happy that Green Giant continues to add to the selections so that we have go-to vegetables available to enhance any meal!
