SafetyTat Review & Giveaway - Easing Parent's Minds in Crowded Places! - Extended

I am blessed with one very cautious boy who likes to always hold hands and stay nearby and one very adventurous boy determined to make his own way in the world....that leaves for a tired mommy and daddy at the end of an outing making sure that everyone is safe! SafetyTat makes two styles of temporary tattoos for kids: original and quick stick write-on! We had the opportunity to try both styles of temporary tattoos and feel that both have advantages depending on where you are heading! The Original SafetyTat Child ID Tattoos are much like traditional temporary tattoos and are applied with water and last from 1 to 5 days (although the manufacturer recommends reapplying daily, if needed). The Original SafetyTat temporary safety ID tattoo comes pre-printed with one line of customization. You choose your design (we picked Stanley Train), select a quantity, and add your phone number.

We've used these in the swimming pool (indoor this time of year) and at many outdoor activities and have shown our kids that if they can't find us to show someone the phone number for help. Hopefully we never have to experience it, but I'd rather they be prepared! Through showers, sandboxes, and rough and tumble boys (at times), these have held up well past the 1 to 5 days with a still easily visible phone number.

In addition to the "if LOST, please call:" SafetyTats, you can also order the original SafetyTat with two lines of text and there are also SafetyTats that include medical conditions, allergies, and more which is great for summer camps, school, or children with special needs.

My boys loved having zoo animals on their tattoos, so that made these even more fun (many designs are available)!

Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles - Review and Giveaway

When I first had the opportunity to review Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles, I was intrigued that these were real wax candles that looked and appeared to burn like a real candle when illuminated. I never realized how excited I would be to have my Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles during the rolling blackouts earlier this month in North Texas. We were faced with on-again/off-again power for two days and with young kids, they were scared with the lights off. I didn't feel comfortable having real candles burning where they could reach them when I wasn't looking, but the Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles were so pleasant and soothing when the house was completely dark!

The candles can be turned on or set on a 4, 6, or 8-hr timer! We opted for the timer option to conserve battery life, but I am still amazed at the realistic look of the candles on the mantle on a daily basis. I love that that wax is slightly melted at the top and the cluster of LED bulbs that flicker give these flameless candles a realistic glow when "burning" too! When I finally get a moment for me-time, I can't wait to place these around the bathtub for a long soak! I only wish that these candles came with the initial set of batteries so I didn't have to hunt for batteries when I purchased new ones but at least the candles operate on standard AA batteries with an expected 300 hours of burn-time per set of batteries (depends on brand, etc.)!

Enjoy Lighting offers many options in colors and scents to match any decor and you can purchase in stores you probably shop at already like Target, K-Mart, Dillards, Brookstone and many more.

Enjoy Lighting Flameless Candles are truly beautiful and I can't wait to add more to my collection! Since I won't have to worry about dripping wax, I can finally "burn" candles on taller candlesticks on the mantle and no longer worry about "lighting" candles on the fireplace hearth!

Submit your essay (200 characters or less) telling Progresso why you love their soups that contain 100 calories or less, and why you deserve a chance to win a trip to NYC for a full fashion overhaul

We love Glade scents in many varieties, so we were excited to try Lavender & Vanilla in the Sense & Srray too! Glade has always been a part of keeping our home smelling fresh...at least as fresh as it can with two boys and a big dog! The Sense & Spray are ideal in locations that have a hard surface without anything above it and that the kids won't play with...we put ours on our desk and it works really well. We truly appreciate that you get a burst of fresh scent and then the unit locks out for 20 minutes before spraying again so you aren't overpowered when you're in the room. We've used Glade Sense & Sprays in our bathrooms before too and they work really well. A big bonus is that they come complete with batteries and it's easy to find refills when you eventually need them!
