Costume Discounters - Not just for Halloween, great designs for anytime! Review

In our house there is always time for dress-up and when you drive past the Cowboys stadium on a daily basis on your way to work, you just have to include a Cowboys uniform to be a true Texan!  Costume Discounters is not just for Halloween, they have a huge selection of boys costumes and sports costumes that can be used throughout the year and the quality is amazing!

My son loved his Boys NFL Cowboys Helmet and Uniform Set (ball not included).  He's only 2, and we purchased a Medium so we could pull it on over clothes for dress-up!  This has been one costume that has been fought over in our house...because when you live in North Texas, it doesn't matter what team your mom and dad may like, you just dream of growing up to be a Cowboy!

We had a hard time choosing which costume to review because there are just so many amazing options at really great prices.  Our Cowboys uniform is priced at only $39.97, and although the helmet is not made for contact sports, it's definitely not flimsy plastic either.  The uniform and helmet set is made by Franklin and even comes with iron-on numbers so you can customize your jersey for your little football player!  Don't worry, if the Cowboys aren't your team, you'll likely find your teams' uniform too! 

Oh, and if you're looking for the perfect dress-up items, don't pass up on costumes like Buzz Lightyear (Deluxe for only $35.97) or Cinderella (Prestige for $49.97, Standard for $17.97).  My sons loved the Buzz Lightyear Costume, so I think we'll be ordering this one for dress-up or Halloween soon!  The costumes are great quality and shipping is free when you spend $70 right now too!  There are also beautiful costumes for adults too!

Somedays you just have to escape...

...and imagine what it would be like to live in a house that is not your own.  One that is free of clutter (not likely to happen with two boys and a dog - ever!)....but I can dream.  I'd love to have a home with clean lines, clean floors :), filled with modern furniture.  I'd love to have a pool adorned with this or should I just dream bigger and hope for a lake or beachside home?

but wouldn't it be fun to rest your head on one of this bed at the end of the day too?  or if you had the chance to catch a nap....because that happens! right?!  I can only dream of leather accents on my head and footboards with cats that would adore scratching those and all the doggy slobber that would adorn it so quickly!

Ahh....it's my life, one that I wouldn't trade, but I can dream of a house with clean lines, clean floors, and modern furniture...maybe I'll just have to get my own dollhouse to play with (seriously, I just want my bathroom to look like the one in this brinca dada doll house...okay, I could pass on the bidet, but love the tub and sinks)!

Review: Yandy.com for all your Sexy Halloween Costume Needs!

I recently had the opportunity to review a costume from Yandy.com as a member of the Family Review Network. With over 2,000 standard and plus size Costumes, it was really hard to pick just one! Here are some of my favorites:

Like I said, with a large selection it was truly hard to select just one, but I ended up ordering the Sexy Waitress Costume after adding a multitude of costumes to my cart and then narrowing them down.

I really do like this costume.  It is high-quality knit (yes, knit which I love because that means it fits!).  I wish I would have known that the petticoat was not part of the costume so I could have ordered it at the same time but I really like the fit and amazingly the costume looks just like the picture when you see it in person.  If you've ever ordered from online costume shops, Yandy.com is truly set apart in one respect!  Yandy.com has the measurements from the costumes listed in the sizes specific to each costume (at least as far as I could tell because the size chart varied slightly between each costume - if you're ordering an XL, the measurments listed are a little odd but for S-L, and 1X and up are standardized) so it was a little easier to determine whether or not something would fit!  In addition, Yandy.com has quick links to the accessories that are pictured with the costume making your purchase quick and easy!

Costumes range in price from $19.99 to over $150 for the designer costumes and accessories start as low as $1.49 for thigh-hi's!  Yandy.com also carries a large selection of lingerie!  Shipping was quick and easy, and in addition, shipping is free when you spend $70 or more from anywhere on Yandy.com.  In addition, Yandy.com ships in discreet packaging - think brown boxes with no additional labeling and an ambiguous return address name so you don't have to worry (if you're someone that's concerned about your neighbors or kids wondering where you're shopping)!
