We had a lot of pictures from our summer vacation to Sesame Place and I knew I wanted to make the kids picture books that they could look through to remember all the characters they met and all the fun that was had!  I decided to take a small subset of those pictures and make a compact (5.25x3.5") photo book for the kids at Lulu.com.  The compact photo books come in a set of three, so each boy would get a copy and I could keep one in case one was torn so it was a perfect option for us!  The compact photo books start at $17.97 and are also recommended by Lulu.com for facebook or flickr pictures!

I had a few technical difficulties with the flash software in the beginning, but after a few tries, I was able to make and save my photo book, proof it, and send it for print.  Since Lulu.com is also set up as a print on demand, you can save your photo books as private, publish it, or share your link with family and friends who may want to purchase a copy!

Overall we were happy with the photo books when they arrived.  The print quality of the pictures was nice and the books have held up to the rough hands of two toddler boys.  If you are used to creating photo books with lots of layout and background options, you may feel limited at Lulu.com but for the price you will receive a high quality photo book.  You can also save your proof copy as a pdf which is a definite plus!  Here's what the cover of our book looks like:
