So you might have noticed that Logan had a pretty awesome collar on recently in some of his pics...right? Well, if you didn't here's another picture (unfortunately the camera flash washed out the light colored background on the collar somewhat)!

I had such a great experience ordering from Funky Mutt that I asked if I could review her collars and host a giveaway on Two Monkeys & a Washtub so that my readers could get a chance to check out her amazing collars that you truly won't find anywhere else!

I ordered three collards from Funky Mutt, one for Logan and two for gifts.  The collars were custom-sized to fit!  How awesome is that?  We have the hardest time finding even boring collars that fit Logan (with his 19" neck) that I love when I find amazing collars that fit him, and we are St. Louis Cardinals fans so I couldn't pass this one up!  In case you were wondering, we ordered:

So how did Funky Mutt get started you might ask?
A rather simple question that Funky Mutt is often asked, and always smiles as a preface to the answer: "With a GREAT cause"... 200 collars were made by Funky Mutt to donate for a local 'no kill' animal shelter in desperate need of a new location. The rescue needed to be rescued. Their current location was very unsuitable, as it often flooded, became infested with every know insect to man, and was in a terrible location. The volunteers were able to raise over $20,000 dollars in one day for the cause, and needless to say, they (the shelter organization) found their new home! With that said, Funky Mutt (having sold all 200+ collars) began it's operation. The orders were pouring in. Three sewing machines later, an addition for a studio, and countless hours of research/development, Funky Mutt was on it's way!

So does Funky Mutt ever get bored making collars?
Knowing that these items will be adorned on family pets who are so loved and well taken care of, never abandoned, abused or neglected! Funky Mutt has become a part of thousands of families over the years, and each time one is sent out, Funky Mutt knows that it will be received with love and gratitude...because it is made with the same!

Does Funky Mutt Still Help?
Funky Mutt still donates, rescues, and find ways to help local shelters. It's an ongoing labor of love... but one heck of a way to feel good about changing the world!
