I was feeling like I was cut off from the rest of the world this week while at a conference in Norfolk, VA.
I still haven't figured out why you have to pay for internet service as hotels get more expensive. We were staying at the Marriott, and they wanted $10 a day for internet service that, at most, was only decent. I just couldn't justify spending that much extra per day...they were already charging $26 per day in parking - ugh...two weeks ago I stayed at a La Quinta and had great FREE internet access and free parking...just doesn't make sense! I guess if you have a lot of money, you think that when you spend more money you must be getting something that's better than if it was free.
Personally, I think I prefer a free breakfast, free parking, free internet, and cheaper items at the hotel gift shop when you just need a soda! Finally home, and am playing catch up from five days without internet service! Look for some great posts coming up this weekend!

I know my son loves going to "woahs" (he's 2) and helping make these projects. It's been over two weeks and we are still waiting on the results of the bloodwork to come back! All the biopsies came back normal, but he is still not feeling well....it's just not fair - a happy two year old shouldn't be dealing with stomach pains and vomiting all the time!
We are on the wait and see course right now. He is taking Prevacid, but that seems to be causing him problems too, just like all the other medicine he has taken. I didn't think kids this young were supposed to need daily meds? I will continue to update, but it's amazing how strong he can be. I know that I don't deal as well with situations like this as he does!

Ok...so what did I do? I finally broke down and purchased a new computer, so I needed to clean up my mess of a desk! I had piles and piles of coupons, dating back to late September....some were expired, many were disorganized, and some were never filed. I was overwhelmed with it all, so I just grabbed the whole pile, emptied out all the file folders and tossed them all! I know I must be crazy, but I will start over next weekend and keep them organized (well at least filed by date).
I am not a couponer, never will be, but I like to hang onto the paper coupons just in case someone posts a really great deal or freebie that I just can't miss out on whether it will be donated or kept! To the couponer's out there, sorry, I just couldn't take the mess, I know there are some that would have scoured all the pages to find the perfect ones, but I just felt that going through them all would have taken more time than the money I would have saved and well there are other more important things in life....like easter egg hunts and rain storms!
