Such a peaceful sleeper..It's amazing how deep dogs can sleep when they know their pet-parents are there to take care of them...and even more amazing that the kids were playing right next to him!
I don't abuse dogs. I have to say that before I say the next line. I don't have a doggie because they cannot sleep around me. I feel just awful for them but for some reason they won't sleep. They sense me coming and they are up. I had a little puppy that I got for my kiddos and tried having him in the house. It did not work because the poor guy could not sleep out of fear of me. Its always been that way. I have the worst effect on animals. I use to terrify animals at the petting zoos. I was asked to leave one when I was younger because I scared a cougar and he was caged. When I turned around he came out from under his shelf like bed and leaped at the cage. When I turned around, he ran away and hid under the bed area, again. When I had dogs as a kid they were outside so they could rest. They played with me just fine as long as they were my pet. They just couldn't sleep. I love this picture because I have never seen a dog sleep in person!
