Poopy!

Okay, I think my almost 2-year has sunk to a new low! After an hour of trying to get him to fall asleep tonight (knowing he was exhausted as shown by the multitude of crying fits before PJs), he stood up in his bed. I told him that there better be poop in his pants (diaper - I'm not that mean) if he thinks he's getting out of bed now! So what does he do? He squats down, grunts really hard, and poops....just to get out of bed as shown by the pea size poop that he was so proud of! He has definitely sunk to a new low just to avoid falling to sleep...he could have said airplane (we are in the flight path of DFW airport on some nights) or mower (for some reason the guy behind us likes to mow his yard at 8pm) but NO....pooping in his pants and he was so proud! After a diaper change and heading back to bed, it still took 30 minutes for him to fall asleep....I'm giving up for the night! Goodnight to all!
