Have you been to Kissimee yet?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.
We are starting to plan our summer vacation and haven't quite figured out where to go, but Florida is definitely on the short list...have you been to Kissimmee? I've stayed in Orlando for business, but Kissimmee looks very family friendly, and we could mix a little bit of Disney in with a lot of Florida! Amazingly with business trips to Orlando, I have never actually been to Disney World or done much else other than shopping (and the shopping is great) but this is a family vacation, so the money would be spent on activities and not just time spent wandering!
There are plenty of hotel options to choose from, but we'd likely pick the Radisson Resort Orlando Celebration with the kid's eat free program and for those days that you or the kids are worn out, the hotel offers a face-painting clown most mornings, arts and crafts around the pool, bingo, hair-braiding, free tennis lessons, arcade room competitions, juggling classes, magic shows, ping pong in the pool and much more!
My kids love the outdoors and I have always wanted to try a zip line (although this isn't a rain forest, I haven't figured out where I will get closer)! Kissimmee offers an abundance of hiking trails that bring you back to the sights and sounds of Old Florida. The flora and fauna of the swamps is a colorful canvas, this area also has the largest nesting population of american bald eagles in the lower 48 states. This is just one of the many options along with visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom, Sea World Orlando, and Universal Studios that we definitely want to visit! Depending on the length of your vacation, play a round of golf, or learn how to play at one of the many great golf academies!
Thinking of a Florida vacation, visit Kissimmee Tourism website to plan your vacation today! Kissimmee is the Heart of Florida. Next to Orlando, close to everything, including the beaches (Atlantic Ocean is just about an hour away; Gulf Coast less than a 2-hour drive). Staying in Kissimmee lets you enjoy ALL the things you want in a Florida vacation -- theme parks, beaches, outdoors, relaxation.
