Friday's Kid-Tested Recipe: Pizza Chicken Fingers
I hate sneaking food into my children's diets, so I thought I would share some of the recipes that I make with my kids (ages 4 &2)! When kids help cook, they rarely avoid the food because they helped to make it! I'll try to note steps that even the youngest children can help with in the kitchen! These Pizza Chicken Fingers are not only yummy but they are super easy to make too!
What you'll need to make it!
Canned Biscuits
Pizza Sauce (your favorite - ours is a pasta sauce: Classico Four Cheese)
Shredded Cheese (my kids prefer Kraft's Mexican Blend)
Leftover cooked chicken shredded (or you can purchase pre-cooked chicken)
How to make it!
Flatten each biscuit out with a rolling pin (if they stick, use a little cooking oil spray or olive oil on your pin before rolling)
Once biscuits are rolled, sprinkle with cheese, chicken shreds, and a light layer of pizza/pasta sauce
Cook at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown (all your insides are cooked already, so you are really cooking the biscuit)
How to serve it!
Serve your Pizza Chicken Fingers with a side of pizza/pasta sauce for dipping and a side salad
Kids starting at around age 2, with supervision, can help with layering their pizzas and making up the side salads (you'll be amazed at their creativity with helping - and they will be more likely to at least try the salad too)!

Eden Fantasys: Great Costumes to keep the excitement!
Eden Fantasys is more than just an adult store! From cool toys and beautiful lingerie, you'll also find great articles in the forums! One of my favorite features about Eden Fantasys is that when you receive a package from Eden Fantasys you would never know where it came from and you'll never receive an embarrassing catalog in the mail either!
I love looking through all their beautiful lingerie and costumes this month! Their were so many cute styles to choose from on the site, but these were some of my favorites to spice things up a little because eventhough we're moms, we have to be women too!
School Girl Costume - $29.99 |
Candy Striper BabyDoll - $21.99 |
There are so many great reasons to shop at Eden Fantasys from the great selection to the amazing product reviews that are written by real users who've tried the products out and tell you their honest opinions so you don't have to worry about whether or not something actually fits the description on the site! If you haven't visited EdenFantasys yet, you should really check it out whether you're looking to spice up your marraige or rekindle the romance!

Friday's Kid Tested Recipe: Fish Tacos!
I hate sneaking food into my children's diets, so I thought I would share some of the recipes that I make with my kids (ages 4 &2)! When kids help cook, they rarely avoid the food because they helped to make it! I'll try to note steps that even the youngest children can help with in the kitchen! My kids had never had fish tacos before, but loved these fish tacos!
What you'll need to make it!
Fish Sticks (we used Gorton's Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks and baked according to directions)
Flour Tortillas
Lettuce Shreds
Shredded Cheese
Guacamole
Salsa
How to make it!
Cook the fish sticks as directed on the package (oven keeps them crispy)!
Once the fish sticks are cooked, break them in half to release the steam and set aside!
Layer tortillas, shredded lettuce, fish sticks, and shredded cheese followed with guacamole & salsa (if your kids like it)!

Clean+Green Eco-Friendly Pet Mess Cleaners Review & Giveaway (5 winners)!
CLEAN+GREEN® are eco-friendly aerosol pet odor and stain remover products. Their line of eco friendly, green cleaning products are made from organic and biodegradable ingredients and packaged so you can recycle the container - so you can clean green! For green pet cleaning, use effective, non toxic, organic home cleaning supplies and keep an environmentally friendly home - with pets."
CLEAN+GREEN® offers a line of green home cleaning supplies for green carpet cleaning and carpet stain removal, green wood & tile floor cleaning, and green furniture cleaning for pet urine removal, pet stain removal and pet odor removal. The products work on cat urine, dog urine, vomit, hairballs, bird droppings, and small animal urine. They are odor eliminators for cat urine odor, dog urine odor, vomit odor, hairball odor, bird dropping odor, small animal odor, dog smell, cat smell, ferret smell and other small animal smells. CLEAN+GREEN® is a stain remover for urine, feces, vomit, hairballs and any other pet accidents.
Our experience: When we went to change out the litter box, we realized that one of our male cats had overshot the back of the box leaving a nice urine stain on the tile grout behind the box! Instead of scrubbing on our hands and knees like normal, we sprayed the Wood & Tile spray and walked away for a couple hours! When we came back to change out the laundry (which is in the same room as the litter box), we noticed that the stain was lighter and there was no odor anymore either! I hoping we never had to use this product on our wood floors, but am glad that it's safe for both surfaces! When it comes to carpet and upholstery, luckily our cats only like to leave little poop presents, so we used this product mainly to remove any residual smell which it did quickly!
I love that these products are environmentally safe and completely safe to use around kids and pets! We'll definitely be purchasing more when ours run out (but with such large cans, 14 oz) and only a limited amount needed even to cover a large floor area...it may be awhile before we need to order!

Best Bath Store (& the most amazing foot scrub) Review & Giveaway!
When given the opportunity to pick from their amazing selection of products for review, it was truly hard to narrow it down! After much deliberation, I opted for the Summer Citrus Body Scrub, Shea Butter Face and Body Lotion Unscented, and the Dead Sea Foot Scrub!
The Summer Citrus Body Scrub had a light refreshing citrus scent that was wonderful in the shower leaving my skin soft, clean, and hydrated without being irritating! The scent is light enough that following a shower, you could layer another scent on top as well or use in combination with a shower gel or cream too! The Shea Butter Face and Body Lotion left my skin feeling wonderful! I'm not used to unscented lotions, so that took a little getting used to on my part because it didn't have a smell but I kept expecting it to smell like something! This lotion would be perfect for anyone with sensitivities to standard scented lotions and I love how my skin feels when I use it!
If I was only purchasing one product from Best Bath Store, I would be buying the Dead Sea Foot Scrub over and over again! I truly hate foot scrubs that have a minty scent and it's hard to find one without a minty smell anywhere, but the clean (no mint) scent is not the only reason I love this foot scrub! With only minutes to spare most days, I use a small amount of the foot scrub in the shower to scrub away the dead skin, never taking the time to wrap in plastic wrap as recommended, and my feet have never felt softer! I can't wait to take the time to sit down with my feet up and really let this scrub work it's magic! I will definitely be buying more Dead Sea Foot Scrub in the future and can't wait to try their other dead sea products too! Hmm...maybe I'll just have to add the Majestic Dead Sea Collection Gift Basket to my wish list!
