Review & Giveaway: Little One Books - CLOSED

This giveaway has ended!  Thanks for visiting!
When I think of Healthy Families, Happy Kids reading and music is definitely included but finding great books and music for young kids can be extremely difficult!  After finding Little One Books, I was so excited to include them during this event to make finding something great so much easier!

Little One Books specializes in books, music and movies for birth to five years of age which is just perfect for my boys (ages 2 & 4)!  Each item carried at Little One Books has been hand selected and reviewed by a member of the Little One Books staff before it is added to the collection which adds a personal touch to your shopping experience.  You'll likely see classics you read as a kid, stories you recognize, but you'll also find books, music and movies that you may have missed when visiting a large retailer with the large number of items available for kids!  It can be daunting to find the perfect book for a 2- or 4-year old when shopping at a bookstore, but Little One Books has all media organized by age!  Don't worry though, you can always search by keyword if you're looking for something specific like trucks, trains, fairies or fish!

We really had a hard time narrowing down the options in our shopping cart for the perfect item to review, but ulitmately, we chose to review The Three Little Rigs by David Gordon!  My sons love everything related to trucks and construction and the site description and reviews made it sound very appealing even though I hadn't heard of this particular book before!  The Three Little Rigs puts a spin on the classic tale of the The Three Little Pigs!  The illustrations are bright and cheerful and the expressions on the faces of the little rigs through the story is priceless!  We've had this book for about two weeks now and have read it at least three times a day if not more, so it's definitely moved to the top of favorites list (right up there with Richard Scarry, Franklin, and the Berenstain Bears)!  If you have boys, I definitely recommend this book!  It's an easy read for parents with great rhymes and repitition and children really enjoy it, but be prepared for comments similar to, "why would a wrecking ball want to tear down somebody's house, that's not very nice!" (or maybe that's just my 4-year old who is worried about the feelings of everyone around him!)

Buy It!
Little One Books offers so many great books, music, and video options for babies and children up to five years of age that you won't be disappointed!  If you're looking for a gift, they also have some really great gift bundles too!  These gift bundles are also great options for long-distance grandparents since they are grouped by age!

Just in case my mand. entry didn't get through: I visited the site, such great books! Our family loves books! I would order "If I Ran The Zoo" by Dr. Seuss, for my son because he adores Seuss books! This would be a great present for him. creedamy at yahoo dot com
