Cedar's Mediterranean Foods Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

Event's been extended through the 20th to bring you more great companies!
When it comes to keeping our families healthy and our kids happy, a major part of that every day is feeding the right foods!  In addition to feeding the right foods to our families, it also means exposing our families to the foods of all cultures and learning the nutritional benefits as well.  In our home, we love Mediterranean and Greek food and have been serving our kids hommus since they were very young, so it was a wonderful opportunity to try Cedar's Mediterranean Foods

If you're anything like us, you've probably purchased a variety of Mediterranean food products before but I can say that we were truly impressed with Cedar's!  The hommus had a wonderful texture and flavor and it didn't matter what style or flavor we tried (as you can see from the picture below we bought a wonderful variety!)!  The Tzatziki and Tabouli salad were amazing too.  We cooked up pork tenderloins with a Mediterranean rub on the grill and served it with the Tzatziki on the side - fabulous!  We were all really wishing we had purchased the lamb at the store for a truly Greek experience at dinner!  My kids loved the pita chips dipped in hummus too!  It's mentioned on Cedar's site that the company prides itself on making high quality Mediterranean products, and it's definitely noticeable when eaten!  We've tried many brands of hommus in the past, but will be purchasing Cedar's in the future!

If you want to know the true love of a food, just ask a 4-year old!  My son has pitas packed with hommus in a little container, fresh fruit, and a treat with a bottled water for preschool this week!  Guessing there aren't too many 4-year olds that request hommus and pitas for lunch so Cedar's has to be good!

Cedar’s has expanded from Hommus to many other new product lines, including an array of Fresh Mediterranean Salads, Salsa, Pita Chips, Feta Spreads, Mediterranean Sweets, Spinach Dips, and Tzatziki Greek Strained Yogurt Dips!  "Explore the taste of the Mediterranean with Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods. Eat it. Share it. Live it. Love it."

Buy It!
Cedar's Mediterranean Foods are available in select grocers nationwide!  We had the best luck at Whole Foods and Central Market in North Texas!  You can also purchase select items online too!  You can even find coupons under their fun stuff if you want to purchase locally!

I would like to try their Artichoke Spinach Hommas. It would be a very healthy snack with some baby carrots.

The NEW Mommiez Blend Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 1:35:00 PM CDT

I would like to try any of the Tzatzikis. I love Gyros and they always serve it with them where I get them. Yum! I wonder how these compare if they aer more like a dip.

You're right, it's hard to choose just one product! I think I'd love try the Tzatziki, in the 3 flavors in the Naturally Delicious group. Makes me ready for a gyro!
