Toy Story Action Links Stunt Sets Make the Perfect Gift - Review!

The mega-hit film Toy Story 3 won over the hearts of kids (and adults) everywhere! Now, you can recapture the magic of the film all over again with Mattel's Toy Story 3 ACTION LINKS Stunt Sets.  We thought the toys were pretty fun, but could be time-consuming for the parent's of young kids (since the younger kids always want to do the same things) depending on how often they wanted everything reset!  My 4-year old figured out pretty quickly how to reset all the play sets himself when we first set everything up and realized that the ACTION LINKS were pretty fun!

Our initial thoughts were that they responded like dominoes once you had them set up correctly!  It was nice that you could play with an ACTION LINKS set independently or with sets linked together causing a chain reaction to occur!  My kids and their friends loved that the Stunt Sets came with Toy Story 3 figures to play with, so they were able to come up with their own movie as they played together or try to play our portions of the movie!
We had so much fun throwing a party and introducing the kids to these toys! I think they were super excited to be able to take figures home with them and a few lucky ones even got a play set to take home too!  For an afternoon, our home was filled with giggles, laughter, Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story gang, parents that were busy continually setting up the ACTION LINKS for the next time and kids that couldn't get enough of these toys!

Overall, the favorite ACTION LINKS at our party was the Toy Story 3 ACTION LINKS™ Sunnyside Breakout Deluxe Playset (it's got a playground with a slide...of course, the kids loved it) followed closely by the Toy Story 3 Action Links™ Junkyard Escape Stunt Set (it comes with a trash truck, so you know the boys love this one)!  These toys require no batteries for play, simply set up the chain reaction, may take a little winding on certain stunt sets, and let the toys go!  You can watch a demo on Mattel's website!
If you're still looking for Christmas ideas, Mattel is offering discounts and guaranteed shipping in time for Christmas on these and many other toys!

Disclosure:  I was able to host a in-home party courtesy of  MomSelect and Mattel for the Toy Story 3 Action Links for my sons and their friends (and of course parents) in exchange for our honest opinions.  No additional compensation was received.
