Friday's Kid-Tested Recipe: Banana Burritos!
I hate sneaking food into my children's diets, so I thought I would share some of the recipes that I make with my kids (ages 3 & )! When kids help cook, they rarely avoid the food because they helped to make it! I'll try to note steps that even the youngest children can help with in the kitchen! Okay, a little while ago I mentioned that my youngest is a salty breakfast eater, well my oldest loves pancakes, waffles, and anything with syrup or something sweet so we had to find something healthy that still satisfied, hence Banana Burritos!
Banana Burritos!
What You'll Need!
Bananas - sliced thinly
Tortilla - whole wheat work at our house
Peanut Butter or Cream Cheese (Nutella is great for snacktime too)
How to make them!
Okay, this is too easy!
Spread tortilla with Peanut Butter or Cream Cheese, top with bananas and roll up! We serve with fresh fruit or yogurt and he gobbles everything up!
