It’s all about having fun…dancing in the rain…playing in puddles…and just getting to be a kid that keeps life fun! Kidorable enhances this perfect pastime with some of the most adorable rain gear for kids! I wish I would have had options like this growing up, but it always seem like our kids get all the cool stuff!

We received a fireman rain coat, boots, and umbrella to review from Kidorable(and purchased an identical set because at 2 & 4, they just don’t always understand why they don’t get the same things)! All I can say is that my boys were adorable! It was hard not to hope for rain! We dressed them up the moment the rain coats and boots came and let them play in the sun, but it just wasn’t the same! Luckily, they didn’t have long to wait before a heavy rain storm blew into town (luckily without severe weather attached)! We suited them up, hid the expensive camera under the golf umbrella and braved the elements (isn’t it amazing how as adults we no longer yearn to dance in the rain…I think I’m adding that to my to-do list)!

..and the boots are tall enough to almost keep the water out in big puddles…

Overall, we really loved the entire set! The rain coats are extremely well made! It’s rare to find a child’s heavy rain coat that is fully-lined with buckle and snap closures making it super-easy for kid’s to put on themselves! The boots have good treads, but I suggest ordering a size larger if your kids have wide feet because they are slim in the ball of the foot! (My boys have wide feet, so I was glad I had ordered one size larger than their normal shoe size.) The umbrellas are the perfect size for little hands but really take an adult to open so be sure to help them out!

The colors are bright and vivid and the attention to detail is amazing! My boys immediately picked up on all the fire tools, the dalmatian, and all the flames!

As a note, if you or your child are sensitive to strong smells let the boots & jacket air out for a few days in the garage or outside before bringing them inside for storage! The boots & jacket had a strong smell when taken out of the package but it was gone in a few days! The smell irritated my older son’s asthma the first day out of the box, but he was fine after that! Just be sure to hide everything or you won’t have a chance at airing them out!
