Review & Giveaway: SoapSoundz….fun soap to encourage kids to wash their hands! - CLOSED
It’s always a challenge to make sure that kids wash their hands as long as they should when they’re at the sink. We’ve all been through the discussions… “Did you use soap? Are you sure? You didn’t wash long enough!” and feeling the need to watch over our kids like eagles when they wash their hands…if you aren’t that mom/dad…sorry…hand-washing is one of the most important tasks in our home!
We were so excited to try SoapSoundz and can’t wait to purchase more! We received a set of Hygiene Heroes from SoapSoundz! The Hygiene Heroes consist of Princess Sanipure (Solar Strawberry), Captain Cleanhands (Rocket Rasberry), and Lord Viral (Meteor Melon). Each Hygiene Hero has his/her own theme song and scent (you can listen to snippets of their songs online)! Our favorite scent was Solar Strawberry, but of course with two boys, Princess Sanipure was too girly for them so they picked Lord Viral!
Our boys love the theme songs about clean hands and germ fighting that play when they push the dispenser for soap. The theme songs play for 20-seconds (the recommended hand-washing time from the CDC)! With young kids, I’d love if SoapSoundz came in foaming soap too! My kids make such a mess with liquid soap, but they are washing their hands longer and making sure they get good and sudsy so we’ll keep using SoapSoundz! We also typically hear more giggling coming from the bathroom as the heroes emerge with clean hands which is always priceless!
