Yoreganics makes three products which are designed to work together to clean your wash. First, treat fresh laundry stains with their citrus-scented soap-based Stain Remover. Or treat older stains with Brightens & Whitens which is a non-chlorine whitener and stain remover that is safe for white and colored clothing and which can be used both as a pre-treatment and an in-wash supplement. Then wash your clothing with Soap Nuts, the dried fruit of the soapberry tree which contain saponin—a natural soap—and which when agitated in your washing machine clean and deodorize your laundry. Yoreganics is one of the few companies to produce USDA certified organic laundry products.

I found the Yoreganics products to be comparable to standard retail laundry products in terms of cleaning and stain removal. However, I discovered that they work best when given plenty of time to work, and perhaps will require more time for pre-treatment than some standard products. They were even successful against a dried-in tomato sauce stain and whitened grungy white t-shirts. The Soap Nuts are basically unscented, with only a slight fruity scent, but laundry smells clean and fresh. I found that standard laundry products are significantly speedier in producing clean, stain-free laundry, but that Yoreganics laundry products would be ideal for the user looking for greener and organic options. The company also recommends the products for people with skin sensitive to standard laundry detergents.

Yoreganics also produces body products such as a lip balm, a foaming all-purpose wash, and bar soaps for facial cleansing. Yoreganics lip balm is a pleasantly minty organic lip balm which applies smoothly and without the waxiness of petroleum-based lip balms. It works well for healing chapped lips and also provides a nice glossy finish. I found the product to be comparable to other natural, organic lip balms.
