When I think of hand-knit toys, I think of yarn balls with stuffing falling out because the holes are too big!  I was amazed at the adorable selection of hand-knit toys carried by Zubels and they definitely don't fit my previous mental image of hand-knit toys!  Zubels are 100% cotton toys with eco-friendly dyes made in Peru.  The knit on these toys is extremely tight and the seams are well finished so these toys are perfect for young babies and families seeking green alternatives to traditional toys for toddlers and pre-schoolers!  They also have an organic cotton line of baby toys too!  Packaging is minimal on these toys as well (just a tag and nothing more)!

Zubels toys are super cute and would be perfect for playing make believe as well as just cuddling for toddlers!  I no longer have a baby, but I'm guessing that these rattles would make a perfect soft teething toy, as well as, a soft rattle (we kept the Leonard My Mane Man Lion Rattle for a friend's upcoming baby shower)!  If we were choosing, I'm sure my boys would pick Fireman Frank and Frog Freddy as their own!
