When it comes to exercise, I am limited due to my heart arrhythmia so I was so excited get back into yoga!  I haven't been to a yoga class or taken out my mat in over 10 years so to say it's been awhile has been an understatement!  Throughout everything that has happened in the past 10 years, I don't know why I didn't start up again!  Yoga can be so soothing and relaxing while still providing exercise for the body!

When I received an opportunity from Aurorae Yoga to review a mat and a slip-free rosin bag, I couldn't resist the opportunity to start yoga again!  I can't say I've been great at doing it everyday yet, but as I continue to heal from gallbladder surgery I will definitely be doing yoga more often.

I remember from 10 years ago always sliding on my mat and not feeling well supported, but that isn't an issue with the Aurorae yoga ultra-thick mat.  The 1/4" thickness provides enough cushion and comfort to protect your knees and joints in addition to it’s length of 72”, which makes it comfortable for all sizes. There is also a focal point on the mat which is definitely helpful in maintaining your focus during poses when you are getting back into yoga or just getting started and for those that have been doing yoga for years, I'm sure you will love the focal point too!

And for those of you wondering what a slip-free rosin bag is, it really helps absorb the sweat on your hands and feet to avoid any slipping while doing yoga.  Think gymnast prior to rings or bar routines and you'll get the idea!  As a gymnast for many years, it was great to have an easy to use rosin bag for yoga and I would have never thought to use one in that manner had it not been for Aurorae Yoga!
