Review & Giveaway: SKOY Cloths - CLOSED

As part of the Healthy Families, Happy Kids event, we are making a concentrated effort to reduce our impact on the environment so I was excited to hide the roll of paper towels for a little while and test out the SKOY cloths we received to try! 

The SKOY cloth is a really cute, absorbs well, has been shown to be biodegradable and is a natural multi-use cloth. The re-usable earth friendly cloth is perfect in your kitchen, bathroom, and on most surface areas in your home or office. SKOY cloth can be used in place of your sponge, wash cloth or paper towels. Now I won't say that I will completely replace my paper towels with my new SKOY cloths, but I can say that I love that I have the ability to quickly wipe down my countertops, stovetop, and use a lightly damp SKOY cloth to dust surfaces (something that just doesn't work with papertowels)! We have a glass kitchen table top, so a SKOY cloth leaves streak marks when cleaning as expected...these towels are great for wiping down the table before and after dinner, but we'll have to break out the paper towels before friends come over!

The SKOY cloth can be cleaned in your dishwasher and can also be washed and dried with the laundry!  If you've been here long, you know that I love pretty much any product that can be washed by a machine and not by me!  Another option to keep your SKOY cloth germ-free is to microwave it daily when damp for 1-2 minutes.  Remember your SKOY cloth must be wet when microwaving for best effect and to avoid risk for fires. The SKOY cloth will be extremely hot when removing from the microwave so the company reminds you to use caution and wait a moment before using!
